  First and foremost I came to this doctor for anxiety issues (and yes I know it is a family doctor and not a psychiatrist) BUT Mr. Caravella told me the only way to deal with my issue was to "lose weight." Well, I know that there are anorexic people out there that deal with anxiety issues and he would only blame it on my weight. He would not listen to what I had to say that happened this year or that I have been dealing with anxiety/depression for about five years. As he proceeds to tell me how to lose weight..he asks me do I believe in God? and continued by asking me if God put soda lakes on the Earth? or Candy bar trees? or wheat trees? so on and so forth. Then closer to the end of my visit (after I'm already in tears) he tells me that if I lose this weight I will "look like a playboy bunny." Obviously this wasn't his area of study but he should have just referred me to someone who knew a bit more about anxiety/depression. God forbid I was suicidal because this visit was enough to push anyone over the edge. I will never, ever be returning here and have never been to a doctor so HORRIBLE in my life! As Mr. Caravella told me about my anxiety/depression "sometimes the truth hurts,' well here is some TRUTH for HIM! I hope someone uses my advice.
